Voluntourism with Travel
Voluntourism is a rare opportunity to spend time with the world’s children in a way that most people couldn’t imagine. Our trips to India combine sight seeing in one of the most interesting places on our planet with serving those who are in need.
We have multiple trips planned for 2009 and all include visits to our children's homes to meet the children and opportunities to see the wonderful scenery and culture of India.

The Miracle Foundation Ambassadors
Our Ambassadors are those who've traveled to India to visit our children, once, twice or even five times! They have all returned with stories to tell about how they were impacted by their experience. To the right are some of those Ambassadors and their journal entries from their travels.

How to Travel with The Miracle Foundation to India
Getting Started
- Fill out our travel application
- Check out our available tour dates and costs
- RSVP to attend a monthly Travel Orientation
Payment
- Send in your deposit of $250 USD to secure your place on a tour
- If needed, send out a fundraising letter to help finance your trip
Booking your Flight
- Book your international flight through our Passport to Giving program and The Miracle Foundation will receive a portion of the commission
Travel Forms and Documents
- Fill out the volunteer forms online at MiracleFoundationFriends.org (Password for secure site given once deposit is sent)
- Get your US passport in order
- Get your Indian Visa in order
Staying Safe
- Get your travel insurance
- Find out the recommended vaccinations and other health tips for traveling in India
- Review travel checklist and helpful Travel tidbit videos
